From real workforce data to a price both sides trust.
The Portal captures every element of labour cost, so both sides can determine fact-based, bottom-up prices built on the actual labour costs in a factory.
Set up factories, season by season
Create one or many factories or production locations and save different settings for peak and low season, or whenever the situation changes, so every labour minute value reflects the real cost of production.
Cost a single minute of work
The calculator derives the cost of one minute of labour from factory-specific variables: workforce composition, actual overtime hours, bonuses paid and more.
Price for the wage you choose
Calculate at the legal minimum, often today's reality, and at a higher target wage such as a CBA or living-wage benchmark, then derive the FOB price that would facilitate paying it. Depending on the buyer's leverage, the tool shows the hypothetical wage increase that paying that FOB price across all styles would make possible.
Ring-fence labour per style
Create and save multiple product-style costings per factory, filter them by customer or style, and ring-fence labour cost from each product's SAM and efficiency. Combine materials, labour, overhead and margin into one transparent FOB breakdown, and see exactly what a living wage adds per style.
Compare wages across your factories
Review and modify factories and product style calculations saved in your dashboard and compare wage gaps across factories in order to inform wage improvement and costing for human rights due diligence.
Model changes, then export
See what happens to the price if you cut overtime, raise bonuses, invest in safety or hire more operators, then download the style costing, factory settings and a full labour-minute-value Excel to share with the customer.
Request independent Verification
Upon request, the Fair Price Foundation can arrange an on-site visit to a factory to verify that the entered data (workforce, working hours, labour costs, etc) required to calculate the labour minute values and/or that the number of minutes for a given product style are plausible. The factory will then show as verified in the dashboard.
